I made this site in the hopes to teach novice PLUG-IN owners some basic #EVetiquette charging rules.
There's an issue with Electric Vehicle charging stations where a certain percentage of Plug-IN owners think that a charging spot is a preferred parking spot.
This is 100% False!
An electric vehicle(EV) with a full battery can park anyplace. A Plug-IN vehicle does not need a special parking space. The PHEV/EV needs a special charging space.
If your EV has a full battery or you do not need a charge then you should not be parked in a charging spot.
So I made these notepads below for EV Owners to store in their cars and when they come up to a charging spot and there's either a gas powered car or an EV just parked there you can rip off a sheet and place it under their wind-shield wipers in the hopes that you'll teach this particular person the proper EV charging rules.
In the future there will be millions of EV owners and the more we can teach these basic rules to the better the EV charging experience will be for all of us.
Will you help me?
Thank you, Sal Cameli
